About

おもろいやろう?: Roughly, “Iinteresting, isn’t it?” in Osaka-ben.

I’m an East Asian Languages and Literature major applying to graduate school. I blog about anything that piques my interest, usually China/Taiwan/Japan and anime/manga/doujin. My credentials – I’m about JLPT Level 2, I’ve lived abroad about 6 years total (1 year Japan, 5 years Taiwan) and randomly go whenever I can. (Not often.)

According to my Facebook profile, I have the following interests: Japanese, anime and manga, video gaming, mmorpgs, evolution and limitations of narrative mediums, touhou, sushi, making and eating pancakes with odd things in them, Japanese and Thai curry, violins, martial skills, the Pacific Century, ginger ale, kaomoji, kansaiben, danmaku, scraping footpegs, giving people nicknames, omelets, gaijin 4koma, Kawaiko-chan, modern East Asian history, cooking (badly), pointing out stupidity, nine-ball, saying “bakabakashii” and “subarashii”, moe, pasta, tsundere, honey, pianos, computers, music I cannot play, art I cannot match, “dislikes” categories.

Enjoy my blog. Or not.
